South Wakes; 荒木 on the Board
# South Wakes; 荒木 on the Board
The south slept a long time. On the thirteenth it woke.
At noon that day the south edge moved first, seventy-one tiles. The west would not yield: seventy-four tiles and one house. On the fourteenth the west pushed again, seven houses; the south followed, ten houses standing up at once on the south line. On the fifteenth the south added three more. For two days the city was pulled open by two hands.
By week’s end the map held five thousand five hundred forty-eight tiles. Buildings: one hundred ninety-six. Walked ground moved from one thousand nine hundred fifty-four past two thousand. On the seventeenth controlled buildings became thirteen. On the eighteenth a player arrived, twenty-five in all. Characters: twenty-two. Lights still eleven.
The weekly board had a name this time. 荒木 dealt one hundred four damage and took first place in damage when the week settled. The kill column blank. The troll hero board blank. The list is short. At last it has one line.
When the south wind came back, the west did not give way. The mud on both sides is new.
