Undead Patch Notes — Map Stars, Contested Strongholds, Queue Cancel
Map notes show as gold stars. The alliance panel lists buildings over 50% control that are not yet held. Canceling a queued action clears later steps and refunds AP. Enter can follow a planned path; a locked door fails with an AP refund.
Date: 5 August 2026
Status: Live on production
This update covers three tactical UI pieces: notes are easier to find on the map, contested buildings are visible, and canceling a queue no longer leaves ghost steps behind.

1. Gold stars for map notes
Map notes now appear as gold stars on the tactical map, not only in a list. Tap a star to open that note.
2. Contested strongholds
The alliance panel lists buildings with control progress over 50% that your alliance does not yet hold. Halfway there, flag not planted — those rooms show up so you can decide whether to keep pressing.
3. Cancel clears later steps
When you cancel a still-queued action:
- Later steps for the same character cancel too
- Each step refunds AP
- You do not keep a leftover tail that still spends AP after the head is gone
4. Enter along a path; locked doors refund
The action menu can project Enter at the end of a planned path. If the door is locked when the Tick resolves, Enter fails and AP is refunded. The UI warns about that risk first.
What this update does not do
- Tick timing and AP caps are unchanged
- A star is not building control
- Locked doors still block entry; failure only returns the AP
Try it once
- Leave a map note and confirm the gold star.
- If your alliance has a building past 50% control, open the alliance panel and check the contested list.
- Queue two or more steps, cancel the first, and confirm later steps vanish with AP refunded.
